As internationally competitive small businesses, farms are vital to the Pacific Northwest’s economy and quality of life. We work with farmers across the region to cultivate economic opportunities in the food and farm space. This includes supporting and developing initiatives in value-added production and processing, the cultivation of new crops and markets, and the introduction of new technologies and innovations through entrepreneurial support programming. We also serve as an entry point to the Farmer Innovation Network.

Empowering Pacific Northwest Farmers Through Innovation
The Farmer Innovation Network (FIN) is a national community of forward-thinking farmers engaged in supporting and influencing technological innovation in agriculture. FIN provides specialized training and exclusive networking opportunities, empowering farmers to take a central and equitable role in shaping the future of agriculture. FIN participants get exclusive training on topics like:
- Understanding Venture Capital
- Bringing Ideas to Market
- Protecting Farmer Data
- Monetizing Ecosystem Services
These topics and more are tailored to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
FIN is a joint initiative by AgLaunch, an innovation engine focused on farmer-led solutions, and Ag Ventures Alliance (AgVA), a farmer-owned cooperative investing in groundbreaking agtech startups. Participation in FIN not only provides farmers with early visibility on new technologies but it can lead to engagement with and equity ownership in emerging agtech companies.
